demystified

demystified

A Poem by kayama

who wants to unravel the magic

to tell the tales of time

who feels life is better

when you never have to know

When we take away the magic

-or do science-

we demystify ourselfs

"Stars are nothing but burning gas''

I hear them say

but from afar how can you know,

have you ever been there?

have you ever touched one?

the speculations of one

are the fact in the book

but who can say what they are

unless they were there

The mystery of life

I can stare at the stars

but the knowledge of a book

I perfer not to read.
