Love and Perfection

I fell in love so long ago

And it has stayed the same love now

I wait to see my love,

Im sure Its the same for them

But to see my imperfection

They deserve so much more

I feel so very lucky

To see their smile, is my happiness

My heart skips a beat

And makes up for it tenfold

I long for that hug,

The one that presses us together

But the joy that I felt

could not be expressed

when I heard you say the words

"You are not perfect, but for me you are".

this poem isn't very well written, and repeats alot, needs work
with that being said, i'm sure the effort was well invented
which shows will, but i couldnt get passed the first three lines,
keep trying, try taking more time, and revise, try putting
some passion in your writing, keep it up! i see potential
