how can it be love?

how can it be love?

A Poem by kayama

How can you call it love,

when you won't even fight for it?

I used to see a shining smile

Now I haven't seen you in a while.

I remember your loveing care

When I need you, your no longer there

That fateful day

You had to say

'I can no longer be with you'

It stabed my heart right through

But still you remain

Still I fight, driving me insane

For how can you call it love,

When you won't even fight for it?

It seems to be forcefully antiquated, which is a bit of a turn off for me. I like that parallel between the ending and the beginning, though the "For" in the second to last line is unnecessary in my opinion.

There are a few spelling mistakes: stabbed, you're, loving.

Great start though, keep working on it!
