I only pushed you away

to see if you truly loved me enough to stay,

and you stayed...

I told you all my sins,

and you told me yours...

I handed you the knife 

to stab me in the back,

but you out it down and held me instead...

I told you the things that no one else knows,

and they still don't know...

I ripped open my heart for you,

and you sewed it back up...

I shattered my walls to let you in,

and you helped me build them back from the inside...

I allowed myself to fall,

and you were waiting to catch me...

 

I let into my head,

and you didnt look at me like im damaged...

 But despite everything you said and did, 

in the end you still screwed me over...
