-Chapter 3-

A Chapter by Alya Usman

Sayii had her eyes narrowed at Tran.

“You look upset,” She remarked. “Is something the matter?”

“Even if something was… why would you care?” Tran gave a small chuckle to himself, with one of his eyebrows raised.

Sayii crossed her arms, “Well, you’re right about that!” She turned her head away. Long mauve strands touched Tran’s face, “I don’t care about you at all! I mean why should I when you never tell me anything? You’re always keeping your problems and worries locked in that stupid heart of yours,” She stamped her feet loudly.

Tran shut his eyes and snickered. “Have a problem with that?”

Sayii twirled towards him again. This time she looked sad and her eyes welled up with little tears, “Yes! I’ve spent my whole life serving as your house-lady. I cook, I clean, I do everything in this shabby little cabin of yours!”

      “Congratulations,” Tran declared calmly.

The short girl frowned and turned away again in an attempt to disguise her tears, “Whatever…” She said shakily. Her words trembled. She ground her jaws together to hold back her tears.
But she couldn’t fool Tran. Her trembling body made her look cheerless and that was way too evident. Tran gave an exasperated sigh. “Look… there’s nothing you need to be so teary about, okay? It’s nothing you need to worry about.”

Silence fell after that. The dark cabin was lit only by a candle. Muri couldn’t sleep without some light. The dark cabin " home to Tran and Muri as well as Sayii, who worked as a nurse for the two. Regardless of Sayii being just 15 year old, she was incredibly brilliant.

The only voices to be heard in the dreadful silence were of the nocturnal beings that nested on the trees outside the rusty old cabin.

“Tran…” Sayii began. Her back still towards Tran. “You…you…You’re an idiot, you know. You don’t understand how much pain you cause others… I HATE YOU!!” With that she shot out of the cabin door, leaving it open. The grey door swung slowly with the coldness of the breeze.

Tran stared for a while then lost interest and dropped his sight to his feet. “Someone once told me…The reason you hurt others is because you can’t understand their pain…” His voice became only a whisper, “I guess who ever told me that was pretty right…”

He turned his head to look at Muri sleeping over his shoulder. And asked himself:
Muri… Have I ever caused you pain...

ok some other minor mistakes here
eyes filled with little tears? hmm.. doesnt sound right..
A full stop would come here and not a comma 'to disguise her tears,'
change 'pull back her tears' to hold back her tears
'sung slowly' or 'swung slowly'?
'dropped his eye cast to his feet'? eye cast?
hope that helps!
anyway moving on to the next chapter
