Selfish-ism is Naught But Truth.A Poem by kawaiiLovelyTaken from observations among the business people.Inevitable truths And thoughts that plague the mind, That force you to think for yourself and you alone. Because the dream you want, you strive for, Consists nothing but money and blood And the hard goddamn work you needed to get there. Who's help did you need? No ones. Who's money will you earn? Your own. Success. Fame. Fortune. No one can blame you for reaching your dream. Even if you have to suck the fairness out of life, And feed off the success of others. They're here now, oh yes. Once you know the right people, you're in baby! Give advice, listen to problems You really don't want to hear Talk to people you really don't want to talk to As long as they know you're there. BOOM! You drag them down to hell as soon the opportunity arises You're the parasite, Because only YOU will benefit. You use others to get the money. You act, and you smile, Just so they can have a good impression of you. You social pariah. All the lying, the drama You're the reason they fight for the lie Because, after all, If they hate each other there's no way they can talk No way for them to realize You just made a joke of their lives for your own amusement You hate them all, you envy the most And try to better yourself But you know your limits. Slowly, but surely, You will drown those above you in pain, In sorrow, And not a tear you will shed Because 1. You were never friends with them And 2. You're a heartless, heartless actor. A liar, A cheater. You selfish, selfish b*****d. That day will come don't you worry, Where you will push everyone away. Distance yourself. Be teased and ridiculed. Maybe even idolized. Because, after all, Who needs friends, family, support, When you have money, fame, And know just all the right people To drag down into the pits of failure. So take a deep breath, Bask in your success And laugh in the faces of all who fell For your grand charade. © 2010 kawaiiLovely |
