Friendship Profiled

Friendship Profiled

A Poem by Katy Daixon

She types her emotions
through letters on a screen
that lack sympathy and passion.
Fingering a keyboard is easy,
passive, direct exchange avoided.
You may be defriended
in that minute of failure.

You hang on every misinterpreted word.

The feed dances--spins like a Ferris wheel.
The height of your intimacy stops
as you linger on the phantom glow
of friendship created by a cursor.

haha... you creativity makes me smile out loud... i love your brain, i want to hold it feel it pulse with blind sounded answers...

She types her emotions
through letters on a screen
that lack sympathy and passion.
Fingering a keyboard is easy,
passive, direct exchange avoided.

the rest of the poem was only perfect as well...

words that belonged in a tribe together since sight began.

Another one well done...

you better start writing more... i only have one more of your's to experience... so i'll have to save it... just knowing there is still something left for me that i can anticipate...

Antonio :)
