Confession

Confession

A Poem by Kat Waugh

‘I will hurt you’

 he confessed,

and like a sinner,

kissed my feet.

And yet,

all I felt

was blessed,

that he was

touching me.

I love this. Affection is so welcomed, even when pain can be seen coming around the turn. Welcome!

Thank you for your review, it means a lot to me that you liked it.
Short, yet beautiful. Sometimes, we don't care as long as there is love. I loved this! Welcome to the cafe Kat, I hope you enjoy your time here!

You are most welcome, dear friend :-)
I see you've mixed the emotions of loneliness with a story from the bible. Some people are so hurt and empty inside, any emotions shown to them are welcome, even bad ones. Welcome to Writers cafe Kat, you're starting off well.
