Chapter/ Scene 1A Chapter by ApocalypticChickThe Red Roses
Scene One: Narrator: A very common reason for many people being
put into jail is because of murder, and homicides. This is the story of a very unfortunate girl’s
death. Lianna:
Alright people time for the red rose meeting!
Gather around! Michael:
Can we please change the name of our group?
I mean Klaus and I personally really hate the name. I mean really! Having guys be called a rose is kind of
weird. Lianna:
Well, when the time came to pick out our group name we all agreed we’d keep the
name. Valkyrie:
Really Michael? If you didn’t like the
name then why didn’t you say something sooner?
I’m sure Lianna would have been fine changing it. As long as it’s not something like the Hot
Rides. That was what you had
wanted. I mean anything, but that! Seriously you need to lay off for a while. You have no idea what kinds of things Lianna
does every day. Between dealing with you
and some of the things she does at home… Lianna:
(cuts off Valkyrie) Umm thank you for
backing me up with a uhh very long explanation.
Michael you are twice as bad as Klaus, and even he’s not that bad. Valkyrie:
That’s true. Klaus: C’mon Val you could have backed me up a
little bit more right? I mean that’s our
thing! You’re my girlfriend so you back
me up and I do the same thing for you! Valkyrie:
Sure whatever. I’ve known Lianna and her
family far longer than I’ve known you, Klaus. Michael: Really?
I don’t believe it! That’s a
first, you and Lianna going against us.
What is this? Battle between the
genders? Lianna:
Please stop fighting guys! Sure we’re
not perfect and we fight, but that’s ok.
Right? And Michael what’s gotten
into you? Are you sure you’re feeling
ok? Michael: I feel fine.
And since when do you care? Lianna:
I was just asking! Karmina: Lianna!
Where have you been? I’ve been
looking all around for you! Lianna: I’m sorry mom I was out with my friends. Karmina: Just go home I have a list of chores for you
to start on. There aren’t a lot of
chores and once you’re done then you can come out and be with your friend, but
there’s too much to do. Lianna: Yes mom I’ll go now. Bye guys I’ll talk to you later I guess. Valkyrie: Bye!
Say goodbye Klaus. Klaus:
Bye and I’m sorry about Michael’s
behavior. I really don’t know what’s
gotten into him, but I reckon he’s not going to say goodbye. Valkyrie: Michael?
Are you going to say goodbye? Michael: Why do I have to? The only reason I would s because I want her
gone. Valkyrie: That’s really rude. Anyways bye Lianna. Karmina: The faster you get home the sooner you’ll get
those chores done. Lianna:
Ok mom I will get them done and… never mind. Karmina: I don’t want you hanging out with my daughter
any more unless she gets my permission. Klaus: She told us that she asked her dad and he let
her come. Plus we can’t have a meeting
without out leader. Karmina: I don’t care about your little gang. I just want to know where she is so I can get
her if I need her to do something. Do
you understand? Valkyrie: Why does she have to do everything? She hardly has any time to do anything fun! Karmina: Don’t question me young lady I have my ways
of doing things and this is how I want them done. Now I have to get back to doing something
productive unlike you youngsters. Now
scram! Valkyrie: We have to save her from this. Maybe if we ask her dad we can help her with
her chores. Klaus: But how are we going to without getting
caught? Valkyrie: I have an idea, but let’s not try it. Klaus: Fine with me. Valkyrie: Now that Lianna’s gone can you tell us
Michael? I mean your obviously not mad
at nothing. What happened? Michael: Do I really have to talk about it? Klaus: I’d like to know and you know that Val would
like to know. You weren’t like this
before. Once Lianna came you went really
aloof. Michael: Ok so you know how I’ve known Lianna longer
then even you have Valkyrie? Valkyrie:
I didn’t know that. Klaus: Yeah so you decide to tell us now? Michael:
Yeah I guess so. Well I had liked her as
a friend and now I think it’s much more.
Like whenever I see her I get all nervous. I mean I probably was acting like a jerk out
there, but you know how it is right? And
then also when you said that she was your girlfriend, Klaus, I started thinking
about her and about her birthday get-together last year. And how we played spin the bottle only it was
the hugging kind because we were all friends.
And Nikolaus was going to kiss Lianna and I flipped out. Valkyrie: Oh yeah I remember that! You got so ticked off. You looked like you wanted to strangle him. Klaus: Was this the time that I couldn’t make it
because of my parents’ vacation? Valkyrie: Yeah I’m pretty sure this was the time, but
anyways this is what’s been bothering you?
It’s not such a big deal and plus it happened a while ago. Michael: Yeah it seems that way for you, but to me
it’s so much more than that. You know
how I always take out my stress as anger?
Well it seems like I always take it out on the one person I care about
the most, Lianna. Valkyrie: Well you really messed this one up. It might be a while before Lianna actually
talks to you. Once she has her feelings
hurt she makes it known. There’s only
one exception to that, her mom. She
always acts around her mom, but sometimes you can’t do anything but to feel bad
for her. She’s been abused, and scars
like that are permanent. It puts a great
deal of stress on her life. You wouldn’t
know that because you don’t know what’s it’s like being abused. I don’t know either and neither does Klaus. Michael: I guess you don’t know me as well as you
thought you do. I actually do know what
kinds of things Lianna goes through because that’s how we became friends. It started because I went through the same
kinds of things she’s going through now.
I guess you really wouldn’t
understand because you’ve lived a perfect
life. You’re the only normal one out of us four. Klaus: Can I say something? Well I’m going to anyways. None of us have lived a perfect life. I haven’t
Lianna hasn’t, Val hasn’t, and you haven’t.
You have no reason to go blaming Val for any of this. Just because you don’t like your life doesn’t
give you a reason to go criticizing anyone else’s life. Valkyrie: You don’t understand what it’s like to go
into life not knowing who you father is.
My mom was an alcoholic. She was
very young when she became an addict.
She was at least seventeen. She
made a huge mistake in her life and that is of having me at a young age. She’s only eighteen years of age different
than me. Just imagine living your life
shrouded in a mystery and a lie. Klaus: I wish Lianna was here because she would know
what to do. Michael: I guess we don’t need her now. I know what we can do. Valkyrie: Just this once I’ll actually listen only
because for the first time I feel like I understand you and Klaus to the most
one could. Michael: Umm thanks Valkyrie anyways I think that we
should all go help Lianna with her work. Valkyrie: Yeah I’m glad that you’re opening up to us
because if there’s ever anything bothering you ever you can tell us. Klaus: Yeah I mean we’ve been friends for
practically since we were born. I mean you
met me before you met Lianna. Michael: Thanks and the same thing for you guys. I also should probably apologize to Lianna
for being such a jerk. Valkyrie: That would probably be a good idea. Klaus: Well what are we waiting for! Let’s go! Michael: Wait hold on a second! How are we going to get in? I mean her mom’s probably lurking around to
make sure that we aren’t trying to find a way to help her. Valkyrie: You’re probably right. Wow I can’t believe I actually said
that. You’re actually right for once. Klaus: It isn’t really that amazing, but he’s right
how are we going to get in? Valkyrie: I have an idea! Come on lets go to her house I’ll tell you
guys on the way. © 2011 ApocalypticChickAuthor's Note
