The impact one person can leave on your life.

You were the friend that meant the world to me

You were the one that understood me

You were the one that helped me

You came into my life and became my life

But now you're gone

You entered my life and made me happy

I felt normal

Sane

Like I was okay

But now you're gone

You left me never to be heard from again

I thought we could be more than friends

But I guess...

We never really had the chance

I can only be thankful

Thankful that I met you

Thankful that you helped me

And made me happy even if...

It was only for a short time...

Absolutely beautiful. I can totally relate to you, wanting to be more than friends with someone who you truly care about. But still, it's nice to know that your friend helped you for a short while. Reminiscing is painful, but a nice thing to do.
