This is Home Chapter 1: Introduction

            What is the definition of a home?  Is it simply a place that you find yourself as you live with family?  For you could it be a street with nothing else but the comfort of a brick wall behind you?  Is your home luxurious, comfortable, or grungy?  Does a home have to be a physical place?  As you answer these questions think about what a home is to you.  As I tell you of my home think of yours.

            My home is not a physical place.  I have a place that I live and eat and sleep at, but to me what I really believe to be my home is a camp surrounded by my family.  It all started when I was dragged there.  I had no intentions of having any fun or even talking when I was there.  I only wish now I could have gone back and redone my time there.  I would have enjoyed it more and talked more. 

            Now in order to keep my story interesting I plan on leaving the details out and focusing on my family.  They are my family to which I have no relations to whatsoever.  Nevertheless they are family.  If I had to give a brief description of my family I’m not sure who to talk about first.  I can’t choose one first so I’ll start with some commonalities between them.

            My family is very kind, considerate, and the kinds of people that will pick you up when you are down.  They are the kinds of people that will always be there for you through thick and thin.  Even though my time with them was short I can already tell what kinds of people they are.  At least what my mind thinks of them.

            Before I tell you about my experiences with them first a bit about myself.
