Skeletons

Skeletons

A Poem by Kat

There's so many people in this world

We pass by them every single day

Do we ever stop and think about the fact

That they have a life too?
Everyone we pass appears okay

Before our curious eyes.

Can they really be okay?

Are their lives as perfect as they seem?

I stare and ponder

Wondering at the families they are returning to.

What sort of pain is this person handling?

I never assume someone is perfect.

We never can see the skeletons

Hiding behind closed doors.

A society is sickened by its secrets. Very thought provoking, if......
if we could know, or try to understand, what it is like in the shoes of the others we judge....
nice, you are wise Kat
