Till Death Do Us PartA Poem by KatA tear moves quietly down her cheek, Dangling from her chin, Before falling slowly to the floor. It is a tear of joy, Tinted with a gray tear of sorrow. She stands before the altar, Listening as her beloved makes his vows. Promising her his life and his love, Till death do us part. Another tear slips down her face, She catches her lip between her teeth, As the words cut her like a blade. He smiles, and she remembers The agonizing secret she has kept, For her death may be sooner than he thinks. © 2011 KatAuthor's Note
