My Imagination

My Imagination

A Poem by Little Miss Obvious

Your black eyes speak more than your smile
The sadness walks miles
And makes its way back down to your wrist
To the place where many times I've kissed

Your life lays in your hands
Yet your addiction decided to make a stand
And when your heart stops beating
The cocaine will take you to its leading

Oh what a waste of a heart
Why must you be cursed of this mark
Why must they beat you until your wings show
Why am I the only one who knows?

Soon dark days will turn to bright skies
Soon there will be no more lies
Lust will turn to love
Your life will be shown what dreams are made of

That whole drugship love is something I'll never understand. If they're addicted and ya love'm, get'm help. If their think'n about try'n it... Beat'm with a rubber mallet and tell them just how small their minds are and how much smaller they'll become if they do it.

On a differnt course. I think it's groovy that a friend would stand by another to help them through hard times. But still... drugs and love don't ever end in a good setting...most of the time.
