My Dear Sweet Lover

My Dear Sweet Lover

A Story by Katlynn

Your soft skin
One touch and shivers run down my spine
Vanilla fragrance of your hair
That I will never forget
The sweet voice that comes from those soft pink lips
Always brings a smile to my face

The way your clothes fit, burns flames in my mind
Zipper half zipped, the temptation
The tight black shirt
You don't even notice
How well it fits to you
Under that
I know is the pink laced bra
It's your favorite

My sweet love, you will always be mine.
No one will ever come between this
our wonderful love we share
I can see your eyes when you look at me,
You wanting me, as I want you

I know where you keep your secrets
Why would anyone ever share that?

You're mine forever, sweetie.

I walk into his room, he isn't here. Thank God. I need a second to think this out.
Something catches my eye. His notebook. He never lets me read or see what's in it. I walk over to the desk. Pick up the notebook and a page falls out. A poem. I read it.
Chilling feelings running through me. I keep flipping through the notebook reading page after page, losing myself in each page. I start to lose my balance, my vision begins to blur.

I try to take a glance around his room, feeling unsafe.
All the thoughts going threw my head scream "CREEP"
I pick up the paper again and reread it. Tingles run up my spine as my stomach is clenched.

I hear a door and for some reason I stay calm, in this eerie dark room.

Contemplating on doing what I came here to do. Should I leave now, before he gets here? I feel smothered. I can't breath all of a sudden. What the f**k am I doing here?
I hear the foot steps getting closer, I put the poem back into the black ragged notebook.

"hey babe" he says
"hey" I try to catch my breath and try to stay as calm as I can
"what are you doing in here in the dark? Did you come to surprise me?" watching him wink after he says it.
There's that clutch again.

"We need to talk..." I say it so quietly I can almost barely hear myself
"About what babe?" As he grabs my arm a little tighter then normal and pulls me to sit on the bed
" I can't do this anymore, college is almost over and I think I'm going to live with my aunt in Carolina.." the lie sliding off my tongue as I finish
" I can come with, right? That could happen" He says looking into my soul turning a slight shade of red
" I don't know, my aunt really doesn't know you and she might not like me bringing people with. Ya know?"
" I don't give a f**k what she likes. If I want to go, I'll go." He says grabbing my wrists as tight as possible
I can feel him starting to twist it with his hand
"Devon stop! That really hurts!" I start screaming
"Let go! Please!"
" Why are you doing this? I love you so much. Don't try to leave me." Still pulling on my wrist
" Devon this is over. Get it threw your head." Feeling a bit of confidence now. By confidence I mean scared for my f*****g life and I need to get out of here now. I yank my wrist back with all the power I have.
His face is stunned. He gets up and starts punch holes into the dark blue drywall.
He walks closer to him and slams me into his wooden closet door.
So much pain running threw my body. Is this what love is?
"Devon stop! Do you not realize you are hurting me? You don't hurt people you love!" I try to say soothing even though I just want to scream for help
"Then why are you hurting me? Don't you still love me?" He says holding my wrists above my head holding me still on the closet still
I bring my leg up and kick him in the stomach. He flies back. He picks up the chair.
I forgot where the door is. I find it.
He throws the chair at me. He misses.
I open the door and start running threw the house to get away from this psycho.
I make it to the front door. I turn around he isn't there. I can't even hear him...
Happy to feel some safety again I open the door.

He is there. Right in front of me.
