Fool

Fool

A Poem by Kaotic Barbie
"

Family is F*cked up. End of story.

"

I am still a lonely fool
Stuck under the path of the dwellers
Taking away every value I have
And locking them in concrete cellars.

They don't understand a word out of my mouth
Too mixed up in their own happy lives
But when one is calling for some help, some love
You can't take a second to switch sides, contrives.

Just kicking me to the cold floor
Without another word, just a slap in the face
An unwanted family member causing them problems
Too good to take a second to listen, to embrace.

I am what they throw to the wolves at the end of the night
When the trash is ready to be taken out
Not needing to pay attention to unless crisis appears
And then jumping to the resuce acting so devout.

You do not fool me under that classic mask
You have worn for so many years that went on by
Leaving the rest of the family to look at you as the right one
And to look at me as the one to doubt, to deny.

I don't care who all of you believe me to be
For I can be bigger then all of you if I ever wanted
You all will never be given help by the one you shook off
And yet still turned to all the others and flaunted.

I am a beautiful woman trying hard to move on
To gain appreciation and education for my future
Poniting fingers and saying I'm going to fail will only bring you to fault
And maybe finally one day you will look at the big picture.

This is a great write Kati, I too was the black sheep of the family, cast away from the family business by 3 power hungry so-called brothers. This broke up my whole family, lead to bankruptcy, and now the business my father built for 50 years has been sold for pennies. But the biggest thing I did was forgive them and move on, my life now is blessed and theirs is in shambles, what goes around comes around I guess its true. This poem got
me to see it from another persons perspective. Again great writing.........Blessings, Carl

I am still a lonely fool
Stuck under the path of the dwellers
Taking away every value I have
And locking them in concrete cellars..no you are not a fool ..you are a lovely mind ..heart and soul
a lovely poet you are..your words enchant me all the time..you are not a fool..they are
But when one is calling for some help, some love
You can't take a second to switch sides, contrives..i am sure you can build so much love around you
and enjoy so many happy moments..that i am sure ..you dont need them
Just kicking me to the cold floor
Without another word, just a slap in the face..no one can slap such a pretty face..a pretty soul
i am sure you are so strong..will always be to the very end
I don't care who all of you believe me to be
For I can be bigger then all of you if I ever wanted..a true spirits of a warrior ..beautiful warrior
I am a beautiful woman trying hard to move on..i am so sure of that..i believe in you
And maybe finally one day you will look at the big picture..i will be the first to look and applaud
what a beautiful picture..you have made it to the very end..right to the top..how bright and beautiful you will look
like a halo around you..i look and i marvel at what i see...

Anything that comes from the heart is beautiful. I can feel what you do when I read this poem. It's very eloquent and beautiful in itself. You managed to capture emotions with your words and created some images in my mind. Thank you for the lovely read.
