Guardian Angel

True story.

I met this lady one fine day
Who could have been an angel in my eyes
With the confidence and smile I never quite see
In this world strictly of disguise.

She told me I can do anything I dream of
Without the help of the ones I would turn to
For God didn't give me a life just to give up
but he also doesn't want me begging at a pew.

She gave me a gold gaurdian angel pin
And told me it would watch over me night and day
I took it with a little hope in my sad eyes
Thinking, maybe there will be a way.

And don't be ashamed if you ever lose it, she said
But I told her I wouldnt let that happen, I forbid
She looked me in the eyes with this wide smile
And said, It just means someone needed it more then you did.

Still to today I remember this great woman
And the spirit she has and spreads
You don't find many people like this in the world today
Just angry people and their big heads.

And I still carry that guardian angel
Its with me in my car and in my heart
Because this woman said it would watch over me
And since then we havn't been torn apart.

This is a beautiful write.
People like this are rare.
I once had a guy tell me while I was crying at a coffee house with a cigarette burning in my hand
that he would pray for me.
He told me his prayers would go to me,
because I was in a much greater need of help than him.
It's really touching when people reach out and show compassion to other members of humanity.
This is a very nice write,
and a very heartwarming story.
I hope everyone who reads it gets the message that there will always be someone out there that cares.

there are lots of people at every time and every place..there always be
its just at these sad times of ours ..these people are scarce
off course dear there are always someone who cares

yes God has never made his people to leave them aside to suffer
