Playing with the unknown
Is not a choice I would make
For I saw the look in his eyes tonight
For the person I knew was gone, and at stake.
We asked them to communicate
For we knew there was something in the house
His eyes started to linger
With holy water I thought i would douse.
We told him to stop
To take a break to say "amen"
He looked at us and laughed
We knew It wasn't him there and then.
That was when we ended our seance
Because something was inside of him
Taking over his mind and body
making his eyes big and dim.
He started to rush and run
"We need to get out of here" he cried.
Tears starting to weld in his eyes
For this was not the place to sit and reside.
He said something was causing his cries
Something that was dark and un-holy
For his mind was being played with
Breaking into him, damaging, solely.
I took his tender hand and shook
To wake him out of this state
He came back to us In a sad tone
Leaving behind that spirit, so irate.
