Ragdoll

Ragdoll

A Poem by Kaotic Barbie
"

This is how she keeps me..

"

I am but a worthless ragdoll,
Lying in an old wooden box
I havn't been takin out for years;
Maybe they couldnt get the locks.

I lay here motionless,
With no weight to suppress
Why i've been dirty for too long
Lying in this old, worn dress.

My keeper must have forgot me
I was her best kept toy
We would play for hours on edge
With tea partys and dress up to enjoy.

For i was her very best friend
And her late night guard
Why shes been without me so long
It must be very hard.

You would think they would look for me
To see if i'm still there
But maybe shes growing up now
Looking for bigger, better things to share.

But for i am just a worthless ragdoll
Still locked in this dark cell
I'm glad i wasn't a real friend to her
Because in here my life would be to dwell.

Whether about the growing up and putting our toys away or the metaphor of neglected friendship, this story verse is filled with real emotion. Beautifully written. ~Pamela
