Money Signs

Money Signs

A Poem by Kaotic Barbie
"

Greed. Its a sin.

"

As i was about to lay my head down
Thoughts came to my head
I wonder what you dream about
When your lying soundly in bed.

I can see your greedy thoughts
Flying in your rich dreams
All thats crowding your rude mind
Is paper colored green.

While drug addicts dream of coke lines
Your head is singing money signs
Because thats all thats ever mattered to you
You and your constant money flu.

If i could search your thinning body
I bet i would find a money sign tattoo
Because thats what the world is
In your mind of greedy virtu.

If you were shopping for perfume
I bet it would smell of fresh paper
For that is all that concerns you
And is all that you can vapor.

Infront of your eyes i would light a fire
With all the money  in the world
I would love to see you cry, my friend
And see your true colors unfurled.

i hate abab poems...I dont really think they leave room to express yourself...they come out sounding corny. This poem has a really good idea, but the rhymes!! you don't need them, it be so much better. I liked it alright
good luck
