Miss you Dad

Miss you Dad

A Poem by Kaotic Barbie
"

A tribute to my Father RIP

"

  I am soaking wet tonight
From the black rain coming down
I stand out here in search for something
I need to escape this lifeless town.

I miss my childhood memories
When you were still alive and well
Can you see me from up there daddy?
I wish i had a way to tell.

You were my number one person
The one i looked up to the most
Sometimes i just wished i could talk to you
Or maybe see you as a ghost.

Alcoholism really got the best of you
But nobody could ever take your place
Not any other father could compare to you
Not any other person can fill this empty space.

Mother didn't do a thing, you were right
Shes still as selfish as she was before
I wish you lived somewhere near, dad
Because i would come knock on your door.

I would hug you untill it was my time to go
To take a trip to the heavens with you
Its not the same without you here
You absolutely have no clue.

miss you dad.

It's cynical, and completely honest. Great job of depicting the anger and sadness I'm sure you experienced.
