PART IV: EPOLOUGE

PART IV: EPOLOUGE

A Chapter by k. brown

Lisa didn’t want to give her son a hard time, but there was always that, “what if something happened, Juan?” or, “What if you didn’t get your meds on time, Juan?” and the classic, “How would we have located you if you had a relapse?” Juan’s limited speech only allowed him one answer, and it perhaps was the only thing he really needed to say, because in the end, it’s only what you need to say the most that means everything.

“Mom! Autobots.” He said. Lisa sighed. Young boys, these days. They turn twenty-one, and suddenly they have the whole world in the palm of their hand.
