Of Swans and Crows

Of Swans and Crows

A Poem by k. brown

Of Swans and Crows

They said they’d love forever-

I’d give anything to become Odette in the morning,

Pure and white; but Odile at night,

Where I would whisper, godless,

‘let me take  you,

let me take you’

and I would.
