good-nights

good-nights

A Poem by k. brown

good-nights

in strokes of humility and genuine courtesy,

i feel i was found, a reborn thing;

that my secret feathers shown for you, late, last night

as you washed away all fears.

the insecurities,

lessening themselves,

were just as the tide that cleanses the sand
