GrievanceA Poem by k. brownTo dream....
Grievance What do birds reach for, If trees reach for the birds? What do we hope to achieve By reaching up, as humans, To an endless sky? —Are we so naive that We think ourselves a mighty oak? Or as free as the clouds? It’s like we see invisible wingtips Sprouting on our lovers’ back. © 2008 k. brown |
