Brilliancy

Brilliancy

A Poem by k. brown
"

You're beautiful, it's true.

"

Brilliancy

Who knew that music

Could become blood, that

Silver primaries tarnish?

Who knew lost love

Never ages, that

Forbidden tears

are only

Forgotten smiles

Who knew

I could move on?

I counted blessings too late.

But at least I counted blessings.

Who knew lost love
Never ages

My favorite line of the poem. Lost love keeps the same memory as when the love ends. The memory stays the same. A very imaginitive thought.

"At least I counted blessings." I'm not sure what the premise of this is, but I enjoyed it thoroughly, and the last line was incredible. Nicely done.
