broken lifeA Poem by katiewaitieI chose the genre Lyrics because I originally wrote this with a tuneSometimes you know, you don't know how she feels. You act real tough, though that feeling ain't real. Carry that briefcase as though it's your life, But It's a shame you don't care for your wife.
It is hard, how she sees all the life you live, when she's locked in your room, everyday. How she cries for the love, yet she never will see the way, of the unbroken life.
She goes out shopping, but it's all for you. You make her work hard, It's what you do. Then all she gets is a punch in the face, Look at yourself, you're the big disgrace.
It is hard, how she sees all the life you live, when she's locked in your room, everyday. How she cries for the love, yet she never will see the way, of the unbroken life.
On day you come home and you rush up the stairs, as if you're running up to show you care. But she is lying down with blood on the floor. Seems that pain was worth dying for.
It is hard, how she sees all the life you live, when she's locked in your room, everyday. How she cries for the love, yet she never will see the way, of the unbroken life, until now. NOW SHE'S GONE AND SHE HAS THE UNBROKEN LIFE, ALL UP THERE WHERE THOSE SCARS CAN'T BE SHOWN.
