Big News

I'm sooooo sorry this took so long. I just got so busy. I know its not an excuse but it's true.

It seemed like a totally normal day. I took a walk to Ava's house, trying to escape my family. I had stayed there only an hour when my phone ringed. It was my mom so I answered this. "Get home! Now!" was all she said, then the line went dead. This was so strange, so unusual. Usually she just asks as politely as possible and asks us if we can come home. We never just get told to come home. Still she told me to come home so I did. When I got home my mom was sitting by the table alone. She looked nervous. She kept wringing her hands. Then she looked up and saw me. She stood up walked over and was acting all serious. Then out of no where by dog ran in. Being my dog he just had to trip over my mom's shoes. Just classic. Well anyway my mom started to talk. She said, "Sophie, I know you really want to go to a real school not a home school. I would love to let you have whatever you want, but I don't know if that will be safe for you and everyone. I am willing to try though. There are some limitations though. You will figure them out when you get there but one of them is that Ava will be in all your classes. Now you probably want to tell her so I'll leave you alone." Then she walked away. I was shocked. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't even process it. My biggest wish had come true. That's all I needed. I grabbed the phone and called Ava to tell her what had just happened.
