Ava and I

I finally edited it and added a new story. Please review.

      Hmm now where should I start. Ohh I know, I should probably start by introducing myself. I'm Sophia, but most people call me Sophie or Soph. I'm almost 15 and have been homeschooled for my whole life. I also live in a really small town in Navada where my closest neighbor lives a half a mile away. Ohh and I can read peoples souls. Just thought I would let you know that little detail. 

      I hate being home schooled. If I wasn't "special" then I would be able to go to a real school like my friend. I can't do anything because of my powers. I mean I can only walk like a mile away from my house and I can't go anywhere near a large city. My parents think that if I get into large crowds I would get overwelmed and loose control. All I want is to be a normal teenager, but it won't happen. I only have one friend, Ava. She is my neighbor. I met her while taking my daily morning walk. I get out as much as I can and one day I noticed we had new neighbors. I saw a girl about my age sitting there. Her soul seemed lonely and sad. Well I went to talk to her... and creeped her out. I thought at that time that everyone had powers just like me. I was wrong. Well i kept talking to her and she became my one and only friend.

    Now you know me. You know that i'm so lonely. I just am happy i have ava. She knows my secret, about my powers. One day my parents were just crowding in on me, telling me how important I was and trying to get it in my head why I had all these regulations. I just needed to leave and get out of there. Ava noticed I was having trouble and wondered what was wrong. I told her it just was my parents. She started asking questions that I couldn't answer. When I didn't anser she got mad. I told her then about everything. Everything I knew and could do. Luckily, I chose the one person who didn't care about anything like that. She liked me for me. She is a true friend.
