Little Girl

This was inspired by my little sister. I see her looking in the mirror, wondering why she can't be beautiful. While in reality, she is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. She is only 10. It's sad

You’re so beautiful

but you don’t see it

You see all the flaws and imperfections in yourself

But guess what hon,

There are none

You’re absolutely stunning inside and out

Don’t fill your mind with self doubt

You don’t have much time until your childhood ends

Right now, all you should be worried about is playing with your friends

So remember, this time won’t last forever

You need to cherish it and remember

Remember that you are amazing and you can do anything

Remember that society can’t tell you who to be

You are an incredible little girl

and one day you will conquer the world

Such a beautiful, beautiful piece to write about your 10 year old sister. I do hope she gets to read this, there are so many meaningful phrases and such loving words which flow out from this piece. I bet is she did read it, it may even bring a tear to her eye.
