Ghost

Do you ever get this feeling?? I sure do, read my 'note to viewers'

You're there, I know it.
You're watching me now.
You're right beside me,
I can feel it somehow.

I know you're not scary,
You're my ancestor.
I wish I could see you,
What are you hiding for?

Author's Note

My father had seen my dead grandmother standing right beside him, gesturing him to follow her. I always feel the presence of my grandmother's ghost in my house, so I wrote this :)

i have felt the presence before, i lived in an old brick house built by a bricklayer...his 80 something widow, my landlady said his ghost was in the house....i felt and heard the presence...
wasn't scary, more like he was glad i was there to watch over her.

What a delight that you got in contact with the ghost :) It doesn't scare me at all. Most ghosts come back to earth to watch over their family and friends and make sure no evil comes to them. May we bless his ghost up in heaven :)

I believe our loved ones who passed, visit us. And sometimes, they come to us in our dreams. It's always a welcomed and pleasant feeling, to know that they're okay, and at peace. A great write.

This is terrific. I'm not as sensitive to their presence as some, but do think they're there. Being a grandparent, myself, I believe I'd be a benevolent spirit, as I'm sure your grandmother is. I'm sure she adores you.

I wasn't scared writing this at all. My brother is terrified of the fact that spirits walk around our house, since our ancestors were brought home to their family when the passed away. I was delighted that my father had seen my grandmother and I was proud that she tried to make contact with us :)
