loss of imagination

loss of imagination

A Poem by kati-did

i cry for the loss of imagination

i cry for my people, children of imagination

i cry for the future, which depends on imagination

i cry for the myths of old lost

i cry for the legends gone

i cry for superstitions forgotten

i cry for enchanted abandoned

i cry for the elves, for the dwarves, for the vampires

i cry for the pixies and the fairies who dance no more

i cry for the death of the unicorn

i cry for dragons who fly no more

i cry for the werewolves who howl no more

i cry for dreamers

i cry for children

i cry for the people of old

i cry for loss of imagination
