Finiteness

Finiteness

A Poem by Katie2443
"

A dying teen's final thoughts

"

So much more to see;

So much more to be.

A college acceptance letter,

To shed a tiny beam of light

Into the vastly unknown

Darkness that is-

That was a future.

A wistfully throbbing heart

That aches from genuine adoration

Aches from real, undeniable

True love.

And,

A desperately throbbing heart

That aches from a fatal hopelessness

Aches from messy, inevitable

Heart break.

Enough time

To feel she’s done enough

 To constitute a life.

To feel that everything

Her and others

Have put in,

Is worth the prematurely finalized outcome.

So much more to see;

So much more to be.

ace
its dark and you went for the approach of say as little as possible and let the readers mind fill in the gaps i think you can play more off of the theme of bright future and tragic end its not death that haunts people its the fact that life carries on without them well done though keep writing
