Just your little tag along.

Somewhere I don't belong.

Am I really your friend?

Here I am standing on the sidelines,

Do you like me or just pretend?

Here I am standing on the sidelines,

Do you even care?

Here I am standing on the sidelines,

Do you even know I'm there?

Here I am standing on the sidelines,

It's really hurting now.

Here I am standing on the sidelines,

But to your needs I bow.

Here I am standing on the sidelines,

I can't take it anymore.

I'm no longer standing on the sidelines,

Like I did before.

Nobody should be on the sidelines for anybody else. That's like being ignored in conversation. Or on a date and them being on the phone. I would have gone and gotten some nachos.

You could almost make it into a song :) the repetition is quite catchy and almost begs to be put to music in my mind. The idea of this poem too, the ability to be strong enough to say "I'm done" and move on without even the slightest of hesitation at looking back shows how strong a character the poem is about
