Garden Beauty

Garden Beauty

A Poem by Lilypad
"

My Lover Is A Rose

"

My lover is a rose

Lips as sweet and tasteful as passionate fruit

Skin as smooth as thorns with an aroma of honey

Eye catching, smell arousing, blissfully sounding against the wind

Marcos in Thornfield

My lover is a hydrilla

Lips bitter and sour as citrus

Love as youthful as passionate as un niño

I hold my lovers but leaves me with blood

“Do you love me?” “Only when you behave”

The passionate lover of Thornfield is a sword to the heart

The garden lights up with bright yellow flames

My lover appears in the night and vanishes during the day

“My dearest loveliest child you are a daring youth”

My lover will be lost by tomorrow

Prickling, stabbing, importuning beauty

He is nonexistent

Amor siego

The rose stares back with an enamoring smile

The garden of beauty fills me at night like the lover of my dreams
