I hope,

That I'll sleep,

Without any nightmares.

 

Every night,

I wish on a star,

Asking for a lot of things,

To happen.

 

Every night,

I'll think of you,

And wonder,

If you're safe.

 

And maybe,

I'll wonder,

If you're thinking of me.

 

Because I,

Don't want love,

To be one-sided.

 

Every night,

I pray,

That in the morning,

I'll wake up.

 

I'm scared,

That I might,

Not open my eyes again.

 

I'm scared,

That when I open my eyes,

It won't be you I see.

 

In the morning,

When I open my eyes,

I'm glad,

That I get to see you.

 

Because seeing you,

The first thing in my morning,

Makes me feel,

That I can survive this world,

With you right next to me...
