Empty Eyes

About a girl who is having a hard time getting over a guy she loves.

  Empty eyes,  

  To hide your lies.  

 

  You sit alone,  

  To turn into bones.  

 

  Your empty eyes,  

  Always cry.  

 

  You never thought,  

  But always bought,  

  Those lies he gave you.  

 

  You should have believed,  

  That you couldn't see,   

 

  What was the truth.  

  But you were no sleuth.   

 

  Empty eyes,  

  Cannot hide,  

 

  Your life forever,  

  Cause you're falling off the tether.  

 

  And you won't get up,  

  Because you're giving up,  

 

  That you won't live,  

  Without what he gives.  

 

  Your pain,  

  Will become your shame,  

  Without anyone to blame,  

 

  Until your empty eyes,  

  Don't buy,  

 

  Those lies,  

  And cut off your ties,  

 

  With that guy...
