I’ve gotta distance myself

This is all too much for me

There’s way too much going on
So much for my thoughts to feed off of
And oh my, we all know how that goes

I need to take myself out of these shoes

You can keep them while I’m gone

I know this isn’t what you wanted
But you had to do what was best for you

I’m letting go of the ropes

For a little while

Until I can be strong enough
To fill those shoes again
