It’s snowing today

Ten degrees and snowing 

No sun, just clouds

It’s snowing

And a part of me wishes to go inside 
To escape the bitter cold

But you’ve shut me out
Locked up the doors
Latched the windows tight

You’ve made sure that the frigid wind can’t reach you
That I can’t reach you 

And it’s warm where you are
I can tell

I can see you with that smile
The one that my heart loves to see
You’re laughing and happy 
Your eyes are lit up 

I can see you through the glass
I haven’t seen you like that in a while

I don’t want to take that away from you
I don’t want to bring you down below zero again

As much as I want to see you
Touch you
Speak with you

I will keep myself out here catching snowflakes

Because you are someone who deserves the warmth
And I have become as cold as late January

I don't only like this poem because my birthday is in January and sometimes I feel cold ad January as well.
I like the detail and flow of this write. The storyline was also really good.
