Transcend. Transcend. Transcend.

Transcend. Transcend. Transcend.

A Poem by KatharineDishron
"

love.

"

We must close our wounds completely

When our minds are so unclear

That the truth is a guessing game

That we can't love without fear

I long for you,

A distant holiday

I see you how I want,

A deceitful display

I’m breaking bad habits

A new beginning cliché

I'll love myself

I'll stop standing in my way

When I go to bed alone

I reach out to your side

The sheets are cold

My tears, I withhold

If we have a chance

I know you need this

I’ll give you your space

I’ll turn you into words

I’ll be brave for once

I'll stop and watch birds

The neediness, swallowed

The love, matured

A solution, less blurred

Sober mind, not slurred

Up late, mind stirred

I love you

If only hopefully

I miss you

If only carefully

I lay my head down

Thoughts of you follow

I don't dream in spite

I'm done with dynamite
