Our writings partly reveal who and what we are, just as our actions do. As for our private memories and feelings - when they affect other things and bring about some kind of action or reaction, then yes, they must reveal something to the onlooker, I would say. An interesting poem, nicely expressed!

I've heard it said that writing is like talking' coming from who we are, how we think...even our essence. What flows from us? is it life? Thanks much for your input and personal opinion. Nice to hear from you.
Bless you and yours,

There are those days, right days, solid days, where that rhythm is right from sun up to sun down. On those days, I feel invincible, sexy, intelligent, vibrant. If only that syncopation would last and be available for every day. But, then I guess we wouldn't know the difference between joy and the status quo. I liked this very much.

Thanks for coming by and your nice review!
Blessings to you this Easter season.

Memories of past experiences do speak and when we read poetry we can relate to other poets that way. Yes, we give away, we reveal ourselves to others through our lines. Does that show strength or vulnerability I wonder? I enjoyed your references to the natural environment threaded into your stanzas Kathy. Thank you for sharing an interesting read. Have a good day.

Hi. Iv'e been thinking after reading Chris' review how we all come and are delivered from such different experiences and circumstances and on and on. Also that everyone will see a poem, or story with slightly different angles because the soul is a vulnerable thing and is to be treasured in its complexities. Thank you so much for seeing and listening and presenting what you learn and take from life and from other's writing and from mine. I do appreciated it.
Bless you this Easter.

Nicely crafted! A lot of beautiful phrases in this poem. The flow is soft and gentle. Memories of past experiences still speak within every streaming layer. Memories good and bad will always stay with us.

Sometime I look at another's words and see could-have-beens that never were. The way their words mesh with what I wanted to touch or feel. Life is so never like a movie - out of your class IS out of your class and most times you don't get a shot at even a first impression.

I can appreciate what your saying. Real life and experience is sometimes hard to fathom. My writing comes from times of inspiration. Not necessarily an 'all the time thing.' I try to find and see the good though...
Thank you as always for your wonderful input.

This has such a lovely floating feeling to it like a ship sailing on a smooth ocean. Every artist pays life for inspiration but art sometimes allows us to live life vicariously through another's imagination or experiences if only for a brief moment. Those connections help us grow in my opinion; they feed our creative energy so we can grow ripe like apples in the sun. We give and we get. We grow and we learn and we produce children born from fantastic ideas and broken hearts. If we are fortunate we inspire others along the way. Lovely write, F.

yes I have felt that about the private memories.
I really like this poem...the soundtrack of our lives...we have the music within and without...
We have to move to our own beat and yet try in some way to mesh with the other members of the orchestra...the other members of our lives.
