What stirs the soul of man?

 

The Spirit does not lie.

East wind creases liquid surface setting a chill to my bones.

The spirit does not lie nor water, in ripples of living pattern.

Cold solitude Snow companion presents itself. I am not alone.

Barely cold just a day ago North wind presence has its turn.

Holy Spirit presence my covering as Tiny song birds skitter the ground.

Beyond bare cane black berry hedge, trees strong and tall embrace the sky.

Mortal eyes survey emerald vista masterpiece whilst I wear a crochet crown.

These hands have scattered winter bird seed. Do the birds know it was I?

Brief season of wonder is held elastic within these moments stretching.

A great banquet hall is their destination; ‘Here at Marshland Border.”

’Tweeting, singing, humming, warbling; their calls signal “come and partake!

Feathered orchestra serenade, Intricate Melody, I am allowed a seat of grandeur.

I have felt many a time when in solitude bathed in nature's melody it is meant to stir my inner design, my soul. For that is exactly what happens. Through the ages many a person has waxed poetic in such a setting. it also gives a special outdoor room to simply think, speculate and just be. I love it so. Sometimes encounters with nature cause the spirit to rise. The scene here is one of wonder as the speaker takes in the beauty of how creatures, trees and wind all contribute to what almost seems a mystical moment. Much preferable to say, the morning news.

It is always a move by more than a wordly spirit which inspires me. For this world was created. Every nuance has its ancient beginnings in a powerful and all knowing one which knows all, sees all and is in all. Sin is the problem. You also made a really good point it feeds my heart these visits to nature's rooms natures experiences and places.
