The past year has been tremendously challenging. If the star of Bethlehem visited again after 800 years, it does make one wonder. Some would take that as a sign, others a coincidence. Whatever way your thinking goes, or where your faith lies, this is a beautifully visual poem which makes the reader think. Keep safe and well Kathy.

Does God keep giving us opportunities to learn. Even do overs? As people we often want to keep learning, to become better and not repeat mistakes. The universe shows itself in falling stars and many other cyclical visits of planets etc in the heavens. Earth is sighing with it's own cycles and weight. I do believe that there more to learn and that there is a Holy God which loves us people more than we comprehend.
Bless you today and hope your enjoying some of the splendors of spring.

I love your poem becuz it reminds me of being "tuned in" to a source that will always be a source of love. I think many rely on different sources that spew negative messages & this becomes their attitude, their way of perceiving what's going on. Your poem is written in gorgeous imagery & for me this symbolizes all the people who are out there doing good works during these tough times, making a big difference, altho their names are never announced in any way. I bet they are fueled by "the signal"! *wink! wink!* Happy new year! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

First of all I find your picture with your name so fitting! The world which we are navigating holds different challenges and we all are trying our best. Negative and violent behaviors and words have almost become the norm at least in the media. Thank goodness there are places like this for people to stay grounded just a little. You help and thanks for your kindness. It goes a long way with me. It is always helpful the way you go into a writer's style and then give word of it's affect. Bless you for that. It is so helpful. Know you matter Miss Barleygirl!

hi Kathy! Happy New Year!! I absolutely did not miss such an event .. and easily see the alignment as something the Wise Men followed .. 800 yrs ago the most recent time it occurred in such a fashion .. i watched them for over a week as they came together like two lovers .. hesitant yet steadfast ;) you descriptions of inner sanctum of what I would call prayer ... especially lending the ear to hear ... i too confess that Jesus Christ is the Holy One .. looked for and delivered by God the Father to all mankind .. in answer to your note ..yes..i rest from my burdens .. all the time as i have a propensity to keep picking them back up ;) .... love and peace

Picking up that which hinders instead of just walking away. I like your end words above so much. Good advice! The conjunction this year was so exciting. The universe is such a mystery and so glorifying. God stands out. So glad you were able to did enjoy the week leading up to Bethlehem star. Very special. It would neat to read your narrative about this. We had clouds and rain here in Oregon-Pacific Northwest so I had to read and look elsewhere. Loved to hear from you in so many ways. Thank you and bless as always sir!

Very nicely rhymed offering here, containing beautiful imagery. A spiritual, mystical effort; just what we need in these troubled times.

Hi. Your phrase, "spiritual mystical' hit a chord with me. Humanity has a place within which is touched and moved by a spiritual and mystical theme within our beings. It is not one of logic, of fact, of the outward but of the emotion, of the heart. Your are perceptive too. I like that. This last year is one of putting people in a place where we find a new way of looking at things for the better or not. Bless you too and take care.
