Bright Morning Star

Bright Morning Star

A Poem by Kathy Van Kurin
"

Minutes of 2020 coalescing into the star we allow.

"

Bright Morning Star

Southern bearing breezes carried from above

Cerulean blue habitation, interpreted as love.

Depths of glory’s presence, nature so dear

You’re Sprit, inner writer; message is clear.

I am a receiving tower, Tuning on cue.

Layers of inner color coalesce, hue on hue.

Divine inner ear, still the signal point.

Special occasion of peace presence my heart anoint.

These eyes living lens, unfathomable splendors rare.

Attend your message. I your servant, willingly bow my ear.

Mystery pulls humble strata great odes composition played long.

Sheer meaning, unwritten by human hands: the song.

I know you are the true, just and Holy One.

-Bright Morning Star.

Star of Bethlehem came for a visit after 800 years. Covid year came to visit too. Did we rest from everything this world had been burdening us with?

The past year has been tremendously challenging. If the star of Bethlehem visited again after 800 years, it does make one wonder. Some would take that as a sign, others a coincidence. Whatever way your thinking goes, or where your faith lies, this is a beautifully visual poem which makes the reader think. Keep safe and well Kathy.

May your star be always bright and cheerful. As humans, we take special events to mean special things. In my faith, we do the same. Glad you are in tune with God and His wondrous creations and that we all marvel at His Handiwork. A gorgeous spiritual poem with many hope-filled values...

I suppose we should look upon this year as a real test of faith. Developing countries have grind to a halt, our lives have been put on hold, deaths from COVID-19 going from bad to worse. Maybe this is the wakeup call we all needed. As the star of Bethlehem leaves, the Covid vaccine begins to get rolled out. Is that a sign or what. HAPPY2021, Kathy, stay safe.
