Yes every day we live is a another to learn and think and just be. Your phrase, "see another's light and to be another's light..." is a very packed thought. Our days our jammed with the influences between our personal lives and that of family and freind's as well. We really are not isolated all though we may try to be sometimes. Thanks for the reminder.
Bless you!
Kathy
Poetically explained and expressed, Kathy. I like the comparisons between lights and shadows. The future is hiding behind the eyes of the present. But we must do the best we can. Tyfs!!!

I wonder how the weather is in your area, we have been having a pretty warm winter here in Pacific Northwest-Oregon. Earliest daffodils are blooming but it ussually freezes good right before Spring. I wish you good and a sprinkling of inspiration which always helps.

I liked the movement of thought and the logic in the words dear Kathy.
"Let us ponder this year not yet known.
We have lived, we live still."
I agree, new day, new opportunities. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Thank you so much for the reminder in your review to stay positive, shining some light and helping as we can. You've said so much and it is such a good reminder. What's best is it is possible. Bless you and your kindness as we are now into our first steps of the new year-2020.

dear Kathy... I think of the "tension" on a sewing machine...
it has to be set perfectly, or it cannot create the fine stitches
that we need. So it is in life, our "tension" needs to be set perfectly,
to be able to help others and ourselves. Bless You and keep you in
His care. truly, Pat

Yes tension, the balance of life..like a leaf floating upon water's surface just so. I like your thoughts above and gave them a 'pondering.' It's nice that you would share your own insights. It always means a lot to me. There is so much to learn in this life I think.
Blessings to you too dear lady!

Interesting poem that I found interesting the premise that what may be may be our demise, certain parts i felt sharply defined this
Shade ponders our impermanance
For now til then. Are lines that speak stoutly. Very good writing
So its the living between the lines that counts

To live in faith that the past was as real as now. Time holds our 'impermanence.' This is where we learn, where we try, toil and cry our way through this wonderful panorama called life.

Ooooooooo! This is different!!! I’ve not read this kind of a piece from you before. I LIKE IT! I have read this over and over. I love the palette visual but one line that stands out to me:
Sometimes just being a shadow,
A witness to another’s light is enough.
All the lines are amazing! This line is jam packed with ponder. It’s like chewing on a piece of meat! I will have to shelf this one so I can savor all the goodness out of it. I’m just sorry i haven’t stopped by Sooner!
Love this one!

Thank you so much for your inspiring and edifying response. It's really nice! Here we are over half way through the first month of 2020. It seems strange to me but i think I feel that way at the beginning of each new year. It is good to feel the contrasts of life and to experience these nuances with others. Dark and light.
Thanks again so much!
