"Rejoicing in the subtle" . . . that's beautiful! We don't get a major show of autumn in California, so I tend to be more tuned in to the way the air feels . . . usually very dry, but when it becomes damp, you know it's autumn. Dampness in the air (even when it's perfectly sunny) piques the aromas that come from the chaparrel, especially a dry flower that wafts like maple syrup scent, filling my nostrils the first time I open the door every morning. See how your subtlety sparked me? I love "autumn strolls away" . . . & the way your poem depicts the passage of time from fall to winter (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Today I shared with my husband your description of a dry place which is transformed by Autumn's bit of dampness. It is so picturesque the idea of a dry flower that wafts like maple syrup scent, filling my nostrils when you open the door first time in morning..Yes life is a process..the passage of time from fall to winter. It means a great deal that you put the thought into a response. Your thoughtfulness is very special. I wish you precious moments of peace and sparkles of special occasion in the daily moments.

Autumn.my favorite.. is a glorious time o f the year for me ..although nature may be closing summers door to warmth and leaves flowing to the ground to die and wither away..I feel an awakening within my spirit a renewal of sorts..perhaps that sounds backward or odd..but that's how it feels to me..love your lovely verse here dear kathy

So much color as are great trees and small too releae their leaves beautifully. The hues are breathtaking and I have felt the way you described as well. I believe this earth this human home is full of clues and design to God's greatness and heaven as a future home. There is an eternal reality being shown. Love your honest and lovely review thanks so much!

A beautiful array of colors limned, Kathy Van Kurin. It read like a poem wonderfully blended with a song that told a lovely tale of nature. Wonderfully explained and expressed! Tyfs!!!

I wish you inner colors which come to life in your heart and then glimmer outward like ripples within your life. To see through eyes of hope and wishes is so wonderful to see. Bless you and I wish you good and love.

I so hope that the thoughts which you've expressed above are some of the beauty which forms within your own soul. For to give to young people, elder ones and in our world comes from this inner reflection. Bless you much in your life and health.
