This is how spirituality feels to me. This is the ultimate in SHOW instead of tell . . . except this is more like FEEL instead of tell. While others may follow one religion or another, & some debate the existence of God, etc. . . . in the end, aren't we all going for this kind of magnificent uplifting, which you describe in such a visceral unforgettable way? This is the way we all wished we felt lots of the time. We never manage to feel this good at all times, of course, but just to have some portion of each day filled this way, with such loving splendor . . . I believe it could change the world (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I see you have closed your profile. No matter. I am hoping you will be back. You are also in my prayers. Your review reminded me of the design within humanity to be moved, inspired and filled with a power far beyond ourselves. We need help for sure.
Thankyou,
Kathy
Delicately descriptive in all its lines, your poem once again illustrates the fascination you have with all that life surrounds you with. The idea of the wind stirring change with a merciful breeze, caressing the surrounds and the soul, is very well conceived. The wind does have a calming effect and a cleansing one, too.
Some wonderful vocabulary used here, that combined with your descriptions, makes for an enchanting and soothing read. May the wind always bring you mercy and calm. Well written.

Your hope is refreshing. It seems to be a constant.
The way you approach life is refreshing.
Cantankerous soul I might be,
yet I still give you a blessing,
and may others feel your faith.

I guess that faith is something we all have in differing degrees for many reasons and in many things. It is in our design to want to believe and be centered in something bigger than ourselves. I know where and in whom my hope is based. My life is not my own. I know jesus is my savior.

Mercy, or to show it, must surely be one of the kindest gifts any one individual can freely and consciously bestow upon another... and here my friend with these fine words, you have raised it to an even greater level......... Neville

and you Kathy, are invariably very kind.. I like that too..
Oh, how sweet it is to see through your eyes the beauty of this earth! It is beautiful isn’t it! If we allow ourselves to truly see the beauty before us we are all brought to tears!!
For me Humble tears fall when I think of all the ways in which I’ve been taken care of through out my life...I’ve not deserved the gifts, the freedoms, nor the beauty in this life laid before me to enjoy and yet it’s been given...to live abundantly to see people’s hearts be changed to see others be enlightened or lifted when once low...that healing exists that brings the humble tears to my eyes.
But your poems bring awe...it’s refreshing to read your thoughts Kathy! I love how you bring us all to the simplicity of nature and remind us that in it is all the beauty we will ever need! It’s where all the answers are.

The days are drawing in.
The year is moving on.
I sometimes try never to look back on times. But the message always comes through loud and clear.
Mercy for the journey we all travel on.
An uplifting piece, Kathy.

Mercy touches us to the deepest core of being. No doubt hearts that are filled with love and mercy beat with the rhythm of the Divine prescence. Can't agree more even in holding my breath. You are welcome ans celebrated.
I was trying to relate to this piece, trying to find some comfort in it, but then I remembered my morning run. There was a mighty cold wind blowing into me, pushing me backwards as I fought to make forward progress. I wonder, where was the mercy then. It came at the end where I could sweat out the pain of the past. I feel much better now.
I enjoyed this piece of work very much.

Kathy,
Beautiful poetry. Your words danced in my mind as I was reading. The style of type you chose dressed your words perfectly. I imagined myself walking in the woods at dusk with a cool breeze in my face. I could feel the Holy Spirits presence rustling through the leaves showering creation with His Mercy. Well done my sister, I was enchanted by your writing and look forward to reading more.
Peace in Christ,

Well, if writing is like sharing our feelings to talking to a friend about what touches our hearts this poem was that. Your thoughts of walking in woods, feeling a breeze which rustles the fall leaves is about what brought on the particular poem. I love your review as it is a explanation with detail which inspires direct from what moves you. Thank you for reading and leaving your own personal interpretation. I really liked it.
