I have always believed that we are connected in an ethereal sense, which I picture as the spiritual energy of God. Your poem (which I love) reminds me of this network I imagine, detailed with all the jewels along the path, which are the connections we make, whether brief or long-lasting (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Your review was quite refreshing for you gave of your own inner and honest thoughts. That is just so nice! I think sometimes that all the many times, experiences now forgotten are not forgotten to my Lord God and that somehow these experiences still somehow live and shine as the layers which are the foundation of everything I am. As you wrote above, 'with all the jewels laong the path which are the connections we make, whether brief or long-lasting. Your a jewell Miss Margie!
Blessings as always,
Kathy
You've left this poem open kathy so that anyone can can take inspiration from them. Hopes and dreams are what we should all aspire to regardless of religion and age. The world would be a better place (sorry-not the coca cola ad or was it Michael Jackson?) if we all had aspirations. It's great to reads such positive words.
Regards.

Love the title, Kathy....a word i often use in my own poems.
I think your words ring true here....we all are enveloped with hopes, dreams and expectations as a part of our inner selves and personal desires and on a deeper level we all desire to be connected with another just like ourselves. It is a truism of life to seek and find our voice in another; have a shared heart beat with another, or even in terms of faith, have ourselves connected with God. For to find that level of need and contentment puts us on the path to harmony and a peaceful life.
This is another thoughtful write, Kathy, a strength of your expanding catalogue of works. Always thoughtful. Always questioning. Always seeking the happiness that life can provide. Well written and conceived.

I always wonder will my contribution here even be meaningful to anyone? It is always a bit of a surprise to see others identifying. I have a relative which saw this one and thought it was about love between a husband and wife. I suppose that what you suggest makes sense. "have a shared heart beat with another." Oh we need affirmation among we people.
Blessings,
Kathy
