God's grace and reality which has given me great joy.

 

Covenant

Covenant:  Set apart stone of remembrance, you are shining.

Christ’s crystal pure fire is Holy, righteous and true.

It is not a breakable contract that I live but a thankful sharing of this heart.

Christ’s life blood is the streaming thread essence glistening into my soul.

These pure strands are powerful permanence. Powerful covenant strands.

Jesus, please show me your help, discernment and love.

Your grace has always been so spacious.

My little part is to reach out; holding forth your lantern of hope;

Pray, wish, ask.

Oh God; so many still do not know where true love emanates.

Many times you have given me opportunity to stand on your Holy name.

Blessed prayer on behalf of others is carried by even smallest faith’s seed.

You desire to draw precious souls within your perfect love’s fold.

I know your ways are perfect, just and right.

Faith is sweet essence held within Holy Spirit power.

We are prayer Warriors of your kingdom of Jesus followers.

I desire your banner, waving in the winds of love’s conquest.

Your power heals the hurting, lost and shattered.

Your kingdom is forged of holy blood fire

Etched on covenant page between your heart and mine.

I love the way you have a conversation with God here while we are witnesses to what such a loving relationship looks like. I was working with a young writer on an inspirational piece & my suggestion was to show what it looks like & not just telling people to have such a relationship, becuz some people may not know what that looks like or feels like at all. Your message here is the crux of what I was thinking & this is perfect for people who’ve never seen any kind of example of how this can go for someone. This one was actually an idea from a writing group I attend once a week. How is a covenant different from a contract. I can just see you finding satisfaction in helping others with their writing craft. I have so much to learn but its great because life is what gives us all material to apply to what moves us and then flows into our words.

If there is one thing missing in this world today, it's faith.
I seem to watch babies being born, going straight to adulthood. Life is 24/7 straight to the grave, with no retirement. I don't know how it is at yours, Kathy. But I rarely see kids out on their bikes or playing.
It's like the whole world is on a treadmill.
Maybe that conversation with God has to be emphasised more in society.
In saying that. There's still a lot of good in the world.

I appreciate your words. You are correct. So many are living in emtiness and just going through the motions. We need and sense something missing...
These feelings come from our innate purpose. We are made to be in covenant in intimate relationship with our creator. God came as Jesus to bring us to the Lord God. In our troubles and brokeness the debt is paid in Christ. It has already been done. Anyway life is not perfect but my God is and He is perfect in me.

A very apt title, Kathy.....the bond between God and his followers. Like many of your works your faith and optimism in the presence and word of God shines through in your lines. You leave the reader in no doubt to where your heart and soul resides.

Some impressive lines in this one; a conversational prayer of sorts between you and the God you adore. Faith and belief is not for everyone but i do respect your admiration and the strength in your words.

Yes, I tried to show how the Covenant with All Mighty God is real. Of course each person whom has been found and has accepted Christ's great Love for them may according to who and how they respond express this love they feel uniquely according to how it is felt. Faith and belief...that is any interesting two words. I believe they are both different. We believe with our hearts and then faith is actually a open understanding and trust in what we do not have all the answers but that we know the creator does know. Prayer comes from this. Anyway thanks so much for your personal thoughts.

Kathy. The purity of thought and the wisdom of this prayer shine through. I am beginning to despair that the liberals are heading down a path that is so very far from righteous and they are convincing a lot of souls that theirs is the right way. Rights and Freedoms to do whatever we wish are not rights at all. We were given 10 that should provide the direction we need. But they are seldom heeded.

How can we live but to know who really loves us. We are like a recieveing tower. Your point about what message a person chooses to take to heart and feed upon is detrimental to what our souls become...we become. All living souls are open to some voice, some spirit.
