I love the way you have a conversation with God here while we are witnesses to what such a loving relationship looks like. I was working with a young writer on an inspirational piece & my suggestion was to show what it looks like & not just telling people to have such a relationship, becuz some people may not know what that looks like or feels like at all. Your message here is the crux of what I was thinking & this is perfect for people who’ve never seen any kind of example of how this can go for someone. I feel the deep love & devotion that’s behind your words (((HUGS))) Fondly Margie

This one was actually an idea from a writing group I attend once a week. How is a covenant different from a contract. I can just see you finding satisfaction in helping others with their writing craft. I have so much to learn but its great because life is what gives us all material to apply to what moves us and then flows into our words.
I just want you to know how much your thoughtful reviews mean.
Blessings
Kathy
what I love is the covenant, not the haute couture of trend setting church cuisine. Not the "touch your neighbor" if you believe that God is thus the transporter to the load we carry; the load that we have collected through our lives and whose haulage have been made simplified and specified to fit our own little beliefs. And I so wish that wise men, (not poetesses) with their ceremony and their high riches could understand that cars and big cathedrals so closely resemble sanctity, that our dumb-and-wanting western asses give freely to the process. Because the covenant is God's solemn promise not his solemn secret. Your poems are religiously pleasing or if the fig wasp could speak to me while finding the dalia's perfumery, there would be delight after a life of working like hell.....greatpoem...dana

I found your review so nice. To think that my words were identified within the interest of another in any way always really amazes me. I just write what is within which we all do. Thank your so very much for your affirming and encouraging review. It's so neat to touch base with other writers out there.
Blessings to you.
Kathy
I truly appreciate what you do here. Many of us lack the courage to speak out in this manner. I think we're afraid of being singled out and ridiculed. I'm glad you wrote this.

Thanks for your comments. My own life is pretty basic but somehow I hope that I find some glory here and there a long the way.
Very nice poem! I am not much of a religious person, but it made me want to believe. I was raised with Buddhism and some aspects of Shintoism

You are nice to read my little poem. We write from our inner souls I think, where we really live and feel our lives. I guess that My life is not my own and thankfullness is my song because of my Savior who brings wholeness and love. In my weakness His strength is my help. I appreciate your honest and true sharing too. I hope that you have good and find answers you may not of even known existed.
Blessings,
Kathy
Christ is the covenant written on the stone of our heart turning it into flesh, pulsing with agape. God is a warrior using love to win the battle, we are the weapons he as formed, may our prayers be effective sealed by the Holy Spirit.

Oh what a beautiful response you have shared of God's reality living in our lives. My morning is blessed. thank you. Yes Jesus is truly deserving of our total devotion. It isn't hard to love Him so. "written on the stone of our heart turning it into flesh, pulsing with agape." that is so inspiring. thankyou so very much for leaving a well thought out and meaningful review. Very nice!
Blessings,
Kathy
I know a lot of people find strength and comfort in their faith in Christ. Some people might find it a bit assumptious that you are sharing Jesus's heart, but you do say ' My little part is to reach out..' and I know what you mean. Your poem itself is beautiful to read, and sounds really heart-felt. Thank you.

My little part is to reach out; holding forth your lantern of hope;
Pray, wish, ask.
This is a phenomenally written prayer/poem. The best prayers are those that give a reader an opportunity to deepen their own faith, and your submission did that for me. Thank you immensely for posting this poem to this site. Perfect read, it was, for Dawn on a Sunday morning! Blessings to you as well...

Their is a world of meaning in the privilege of what 'pray, wish, ask' means, don't cha think? My favorite day is Sunday. I am totally tickled to go to church and focus on Jesus and our relationship. I will be learning till the day I die. Also the beautiful phrase, 'Dawn on a Sunday morning!' that would be a pretty title for a poem, dontcha think?
Thanks for reading. I was really encouraged.
Blessings to you,
Kathy
They say faith can move mountains, I believe, well these fine words certainly moved me Kathy....Love and Faith in equal amounts, sounds like a recipe for the making of a beautiful world, my dear Friend........ Neville

A beautiful world. That sounds so wonderful. Well, the world is really that most of us know is what we experience and know; how do we interpret? When and since I have been called and followed the voice and salvation of Jesus Christ it is the world within which is my soul that is real. Joy in believing, joy in knowing. "Faith can move mountains." I like that too. Joy in prayer. God does His work and we get to somehow be involved when we pray with faith. Why not....it is our Great God which handles everything anyhow. Love your review.

Very nice. I am not really a religious person. I was raised Buddhist and Korean Witch voodoo stuff so I don't know. Although it got me interested. Never had the will to read a Bible, but had Korean friends who are Christian and Catholic.
